Rimi and the Latvian Olympic Committee together in 2025 launched the initiative “Olympians in Schools with Rimi” to inspire children all over Latvia to lead an active and healthy life.
Travelling around Latvia with professional athletes, the project introduced children to healthy lifestyle habits, movement and nutrition through games and interactive activities. Pupils had the opportunity to learn side by side with such legendary Latvian athletes as Māris Štrombergs, Gunta Baško, Jānis Šmēdiņš and many others.
